Tucked into the last piece of private property between the Point Reyes National Seashore and the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA), Woodville Ranch offers many opportunities for travelers, nature lovers and recreation buffs.

Bird watchers: There is wonderful bird life on our ranch and throughout the Point Reyes National Seashore. Point Reyes Bird Observatory and Audubon Canyon Ranch are a stone's throw away and the Point Reyes Lighthouse is famous for attracting birds lost on their migration routes. World renowned guides are readily available.

Bicyclists: Road bikers love touring on Highway 1 where the theme is "share the road". Mountain bikers have miles of flat and steep terrain. Bike rentals are available in Bolinas and Point Reyes Station.

Motorcyclists: Highway 1 is a regular ride route for both sport bikers and Harley lovers. Make Woodville Ranch part of your trip. Take a ride out to Johnson Oyster Farm at Drake's Estero and bring back the makings for an oyster BBQ. And above all, keep the shiny side up.

Hikers and Horseback riders: The region abounds in the best riding trails in the state. Horse rentals are available at nearby Five Brooks Stables. We'll help you pick out hiking trails that start right from our driveway.

Kayakers and Surfers: Choose leisurely paddling in Bolinas Lagoon or thrilling surf kayaking or surfboarding at Stinson and Bolinas Beaches, renowned for their excellent surf.

Beach lovers: If you like tide pooling, surf fishing, boogie boarding, regular or clothes- optional beaches or good old lounging in the sun, it's here, in spades.
